There are 2 versions of the HP JetDirect 175x - J6035D and J6035G - what is the difference£
Simply the G version has RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certification. This EU directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment.
The D version was manufactured prior to the introduction of the directive. As there is no requirement to mark products as RoHS compliant HP simply changed the part code to G for any units manufactured after the introduction of the directive.
Functionally there is no difference between the D or G versions and they both have the same firmware etc.
